Latinas Acting Up in LA

Join LCLAA in Solidarity with Trabajadoras

In the lead up to #LatinaEqualPay Day, join Latinas, Latine community members and our allies across industries and sectors as we link arms to #DemandMore.

Join the action in solidarity with working Latinas. Latina workers are on strike from actors to writers, hotel workers, city workers, nurses, auto workers and more. We will unite with shared determination to push for better conditions for Latinas and all working people at Warner Bros Studio from 10:00am to Noon on Friday, September 29th. The action is organized by Latinas Acting Up, which was co-founded by SAG-AFTRA members and actresses Diana Maria Riva and Lisa Vidal. We will gather from across industries and sectors to demonstrate our power and unity.

Please wear your union or organization/affiliation t-shirts and carry signs with messages about the strikes or the worker organizing efforts we are engaged in. We will be there in solidarity with Latinas Acting Up and we aim to show our unity across industries as well as our commitment to improving conditions for all of us.

Please reach out to Monica Ramirez monica@justice4women.org or Catherine Hinshaw at catherine@justice4women.org if you have any questions.
