Latina Equal Pay Day is on October 5, the day we observe the pay gap of 54 cents when looking at all Latinas with reported earnings which is often even wider for immigrants, LGBTQIA+ Latinas, and Afrolatinas.*
The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA), Justice for Migrant Women, and the Equal Pay Today Campaign invite you to join us for a day of action on September 30 as we lead up to Latina Equal Pay Day. We will confront the systems that cause the pay gap, and address how unions can help to make sure each person has all the information they need to support Latinas in the workplace, including immigrants, as well as those who are pregnant and nursing.
Thank you to LiUNA Local 300 for hosting us in their space! Breakfast will be provided.
